Unfortunately, there are still more than 38,000 Staten Islanders who rely on the assistance of Project Hospitality.
In 2013, the agency served a record 2.2 million meals. Their publicity indicates that over the past 16 years, the funds raised through the annual Dine Out Against Hunger drive have provided 946,463 meals. That indicates that $1 pays for one meal for a Staten Islander in need. So, once again, they are looking for our donations to continue their work. Read more on silive.com
