Specialized LGBTQ+ Wellness & Recovery Services

Aligning Your Goals with Our Supportive Approach!

Substance use disorder can pose a major life challenge. Unfortunately, individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, and those encompassing all sexual and gender identities within the LGBTQ+ community have often faced a lack of culturally competent care. At Project Hospitality, we're committed to changing this narrative.

About the Program
Everyone has the right to receive services without discrimination based upon race, color, age, ethnicity, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression or national origin. When it comes to the care of our clients, Project Hospitality has adopted an LGBTQ+ specific nondiscrimination policy. Our goal is to ensure that all clients are treated with dignity and respect and to have their individual needs met while feeling safe and affirmed during their care.
Our Services:
Our program places a primary emphasis on addressing substance use disorders while also integrating gender-affirming healthcare services. Our team is extensively trained and experienced in providing explicit support to LGBTQ+ individuals, ensuring an environment free from harassment and discrimination is maintained at all times.
Our Commitment Includes:

• Utilizing chosen names and personal pronouns for every client regardless of

sex at birth, to ensure personalized, relevant, and sensitive care tailored to their needs
• Confidentiality will be respected at all times. No information will be shared without your permission
• Judgment-free personalized support
• Collaboratively determining with LGBTQ+ clients whether to disclose their identity within the program, respecting their autonomy and comfort levels
• Ensuring any disclosure of LGBTQ+ identity is contextually appropriate and accompanied by education regarding privacy and confidentiality
Our skilled and inclusive team will collaborate with you to determine the most suitable treatment choices and services that align with your recovery objectives and aspirations.
Specialized LGBTQ+ Services:
You have the option to receive LGBTQ+ affirmative care tailored to support your recovery journey through individual, group, and peer recovery sessions. Our group sessions offer a curriculum designed to address your specific healthcare and recovery needs, allowing you to choose from evidence-based topics and interventions that resonate with you. You'll have the opportunity to explore subjects such as LGBTQ+ trauma, family dynamics, relationships, allyship, and more, within a supportive environment that honors your identity.
Confidentiality is paramount throughout your recovery process, regardless of whether you're an adolescent, adult, or older adult. Our personalized plans prioritize safeguarding your information, ensuring that details are shared only at your request.
